Experience

 

Since 2004 I have had the opportunity to teach over 60 different mindfulness and meditation trainings in Seattle, Everett, Kirkland, Issaquah, Burien and Wenatchee in hospital, corporate, community, private and health care settings.  Over 40 of these have been eight week MBSR trainings, ten four week trainings, four workshops, four retreats and a long term six month medical pilot study. It has been a true pleasure to have participated in these opportunities.

Professional experience

My professional nursing experience is currently  as director of nursing of a home care and home health agency. My background includes being  a home health nurse case manager, wound consultant and specialist, IV nurse,  a RN in substance abuse, detox and recovery, medical and surgical rehabilitation, geriatric inpatient psychiatry, general adult and adolescent in patient psychiatry, hospice and home health, family practice triage clinic, alternative medicine, hospital acute care float pool, neurology, telephone triage, medical /surgical, and holistic nursing.
